Frequently asked questions

Can't see your question below? Contact us and we'll get back to you within one working day.

How do I book an appointment?

Head to Find a doctor, use the filters to shortlist someone in your city, open their profile and pick an available slot. You will get a booking confirmation by email straight away and a reminder before the appointment.

What is my token number?

Every booking gets a queue token like A-06. It sets your position in the doctor's live OPD queue for that day. You can watch the queue advance in real time on your patient dashboard so you do not have to wait at the clinic.

How do I reschedule or cancel a booking?

Open your dashboard, go to Bookings, tap the appointment and pick "Reschedule" or "Cancel". If a receptionist booked you in, ask them to change it from their attendant dashboard; the patient is emailed automatically.

I registered at the front desk without an email. Can I still sign in?

Patients registered by an attendant without an email are marked SMS-only and do not have a login. Add your email later from the same clinic, or self-register on /register using the same CNIC or phone. Your booking and prescription history will be linked automatically.

What is the verification code I received during sign-up?

For security we send a 6-digit OTP to your email (or phone if you did not provide an email) during registration. Enter it on the wizard's "Verify" step. The code expires after 10 minutes; you can request a new one from the same screen.

How do I reset my password?

Click Forgot password on the sign-in page and enter your email. We will send a 6-digit code to verify you own the address; enter it, then set a new password.

Who can see my medical records?

Your treating doctor and their clinical staff. Other doctors you visit later can view (and print) your previous prescriptions and lab reports, but only the doctor who wrote a note or prescription can edit it. Nothing is shared with insurers or advertisers. Full details in our privacy policy.

How do I join DocGini as a doctor or home-care provider?

Go to /register and choose your role. Doctors need a valid PMDC number; physiotherapists and nurses need an AHPC registration. Our team verifies credentials within one working day and emails you as soon as your profile is live.

Is there a mobile app?

DocGini works on any modern phone browser today. Native iOS and Android apps are in the pipeline; register a patient account now and we will notify you the moment the app is released.

How much does DocGini cost?

Patient accounts are free. Consultation, home-visit and lab fees are set by the individual provider and shown before you confirm any booking. Doctors and hospitals pay a subscription; contact our team for pricing.
